Hello C-130 world,

just out of curiosity, why does the C-130 have a left and right brake pedal (pilot - and co-pilot side)??

the best 2017 to ya all

Herky400M, so the copilot has all the same functions (except nose wheel steering) that the pilot has for normal and emergency flying and landing. This IS a combat aircraft and there is the chance the pilot could be injured to the point that the copilot would need to operate and land the aircraft...ie, needs to stop. Bill

Doesn't a Cessna 172 have dual brake pedals? I thought all aircraft were like that.

Not all tinyclark.  Dual brakes in small GA planes were not standard back in the day.  I used to fly a '68 Piper that only had brakes on the left.
