Dj_lex
Rigging NLG door, all of the steps and gaps are within limits but the aft door bumper stops wont touch the fuselage. If the aft door is rigged to get the bumpers within limits it throws off the step of the aft door leading edge.... any ideas?
tinyclark
Is there a requirement to have the bumpers touch? We went through this about "too many frikkin' years ago". An uneven ramp or uneven fuel load can cause the bumpers not to touch. Seems the reasoning was that the bumpers just protected the aircraft, s why the hell worry? HercMX
With the doors aligned on jacks, then the acft lowered to the ground, they never seemed to be aligned !!
tinyclark
This was a topic of discussion many, many years ago at the PIWG conference. I though something was added to the tech orders. I will keep looking.
tinyclark
Sorry, I misunderstood your question. I thought they were not touching on the ground, not while on jacks.
