dinahmoehumm
Hello Folks, The C-130 Production List show 63-7872 as being broken up at Eglin, but I drive past it every day on my way to work and it sure looks intact to me. As a matter of fact, one day I went by and the ramp was open and folks were milling around, doing what I don't know, but milling around the airplane nonetheless. Any ideas on what the real story is on this airplane? Arf, Dinah
bobdaley
Me too! I put it in as Broken UP, becuse I was told that it was being used in a test program at Eglin and would never fly again. Bob
Dan Wilson
Is that the bird sitting on the test firing range with the C-27?

dinahmoehumm
Is that the bird sitting on the test firing range with the C-27? Yep, that's the one Dan. Right behind the Chuck. It doesn't look half bad actually. Everything appears to be there, other than the one external tank. But that's sitting next to it in a cradle. I just wonder what the story is with the old girl, that's all.
