larry myers
When flying with my aircraft my objective was to always get as much sleep as possible while en route. The reason being I never knew how long it was going to take to get the acft. ready for the next day's departure. Like donwon I kept a litter stowed on the right side just aft of fs 245. My favorite place to sleep, however, was in a hammock rigged above the ramp and door. Nice and warm with a slight rocking effect.
EClark
Like Don I had a litter and got all the rest in flights I could as you never know what you are in for when you land. Our FE's would keep me up to date and run interference for me with the flight crew!!!
Wil Sanchez
Hi Dutch, great question. I used to sleep on top in the slot up next to the Rudder and Elevator when in VN cause it was so hot. Slept inside on many an occasion especially when doing 3 day shuttles. Never slept underneath though. It is good to hear from you guys again. I've been absent for awhile. Take care and be safe.
