howell fe
How about the EC-130 unit at DM?
bobdaley
The EC-130's at DM are H models. According to Robins the only E model being flown by the USAF is 64-14859 being flown by AFMC at Waco TX.For tests and training 64-14859 started life as an HC-130H, Then it became an EC-130H then a C-130H and then Robins sprinkled holy water on it and called it a C-130E. Even though it has -15 engines, Robins said it is more like an E than an H so we'll call it an E. Bob BTW there are 8 64's still flying for the USAF 4 HC-130P's, 2 WC-130H's, an EC-130H and the C-130E Edited April 9, 2015 by bobdaley
DC10FE
Thanks, Bob. You have made me feel very old. Don R.
bobdaley
I know what you mean. Everything I flew in the AF is gone except maybe a few T-38's. C-130B/E, C-5A, T-41, T-37. SWA even got rid of all the 737-200's. Just old Bob
