moe986
Requesting advice on this problem. The engine won't shutdown normally (negative fuel cut). Pulling the T-Handle managed to shut it down. We've replaced the geneva lock & speed sensitive control. What else should I try?
Lkuest
Have you tried the switch that tells the Geneva lock to close? It can be tempermental. I've had the same problem before in ground stop. Hitting the quadrant did the trick in my case, which means switch, but it could outright fail as well. There's a lot of wiring and components in the system, so I'd recommend hunting the problem down using a wiring schematic if it isn't the switch. pjvr99
Lkuest got the first thing i'd look at - cut-off switch on the condition lever in the pedestal. However, for me,the left-hand harness and QEC kit wiring has been a source of shut-down problems for many years.
AMPTestFE
Yep, either a bad switch or out of rig.
