Dan Greaves
Hey guys, My father in law told me a story today that I believe to be a myth but wondered if any of you had ever heard it before. Apparently whilst working in South Africa in the early 90's, he was told that the C-130 gearbox required a specific type of grease. This grease had a specific rule (that was apparently provided by the OEM) that women on their "time of the month" could not touch it. If they did, secretions in their sweat (apparently only present at that time of the month), would react with the grease and damage it. I cannot find anything about this online and it frankly sounds way too farfetched to be real. Dan
