An old woman goes to answer a knock at the door one evening to find two police officers standing there. ''Madam, are you married?'' one officer asks. ''Why yes,'' the old lady replies, ''for 48 years.'' ''Do you have a photograph of your husband?'' the second officer asks. The old lady pulls a picture out of her purse and hands it to the officers. They look it over and hand it back to her. ''Madam, he's going to be OK but, I'm sorry, it looks like your husband has been hit by a truck.'' The lady says: ''I know, sir, but he's got a wonderful personality and has always been very kind to me and the children.''

Yes. The problem has been solved. We applied sealant to tank #2 and allowed it to cure very well. Now, there is no more leak and the aircraft is back in service.

Recently, a large corporation hired several cannibals to increase its diversity. 'You are all part of our team now', said the HR rep during the welcoming briefing. 'You get all the usual benefits and you can go to the cafeteria for something to eat, but don't eat any employees.' The cannibals promised they would not. Four weeks later the cannibal chief remarked, 'You're all working very hard and I'm satisfied with your work. We have noticed a marked increase in the whole company's performance. However, one of our secretaries has disappeared. Do any of you know what happened to her?' The cannibals all shook their heads. 'No.' After the boss had left, the chief of the cannibals said to the others, 'Which one of you idiots ate the secretary?' A hand rose hesitantly. 'You fool!' the leader raged. 'For four weeks we've been eating managers and no one noticed anything. But NOOOooo, you had to go and eat someone who actually does something.............

A little boy went to his teacher to tell her he found a frog. The teacher asked if it was alive or dead. The little boy said that it was dead. The teacher asked how he knew. The boy said, "I pissed in its ear." The teacher said, "You what?" He said, "You know, I went to his ear and said, 'psst!' and it didn't move. So it must be dead."

If the orifice cups are clogged, you will never be able to accurately check servicing, as the pressurized sump may always show good, but at the expense of the atmospheric sump. The atmospheric sump is allegedly the most accurate location, so if it's inaccurate, it will always lie to you. You should check your tech data for how to clean the orifice cups. The only other option is to replace the pitchlock regulator, preferably with one that was recently overhauled to guarantee the cups are clean. One indication the orifice cups are clogged is that, when you check the pressurized sump after 2 minutes, the fluid fills up and overflows. This is due to the pitchlock regulator keeping the fluid pressurized in the system instead of draining the fluid into the barrel like it's supposed to. Be careful of those who tell you only the pressurized sump is required for an accurate fluid check. This comes from the idea that the pressurized sump dipstick actually gives you a quantity, and the atmospheric sump is only a go/no-go. The only thing the pressurized sump dipstick tells you is how much fluid is in the pressurized sump, who's job is to force-feed the pumps sending the fluid out to the valvehousing. The atmospheric sump dipstick tells you how much is in the barrel AND atmospheric sump. If there's nothing on the atmospheric dipstick, you have no idea how much is in the barrel, and that can be dangerous.

It is likely your orifice cups are clogged, preventing proper filling of the barrel assembly, and therefore your atmospheric sump

Hi there, I guess you dont have any hydraulics on your dipstick coz the level is probably lower than the dipstick or its not fully inserted. The presence of hydraulic within the pressurized sump may not mean that there is adequate hydraulics required. There is another dipstick to measure the levels within the atmospheric sump and you can probably use that to gauge whether the amounts are right. Correctly, you should service the sump till you have just a bit of oil on the dipstick from the atmospheric sump.

Yesterday my daughter again asked why I didn't do something useful with my time in retirement. Talking about my "doing something useful" seemed to be her favorite topic of conversation in many of our conversations. She was "only thinking of me" and suggested I go down to the senior center and hang out with the guys. I did this and when I got home last night I decided to teach her a lesson about staying out of my business. I told her that I had joined a parachute club. She said, "Are you nuts? You’re 75 years old and you're going to start jumping out of airplanes?" I proudly showed her that I even got a membership card. She said to me, "Good grief, where are your glasses! This is a membership to a Prostitute Club, not a Parachute Club." "I'm in trouble again, and I don't know what to do... I signed up for five jumps a week," I told her. She fainted. Life as a senior citizen is not getting any easier, but sometimes it really can be fun..

Sounds like a good time was had by all Sonny. Did you get to shoot the .50 ? That would have been icing on the cake.

Now wait a minute! I served my time (18 months) at Naha, before I got a consecutive overseas tour to CCK (15 months.) Without a leave also.! Thirty three months of "you numbah ten GI" . Barry (f4enut) knows what he is talking about---The 21st. was okay, but the 35th had superior personnel. Although I am still jealous of Sonny for being able to go AWOL in South Viet Nam with the Navy. And he got away with it!!! Sonny, if you get the time, re-tell that story. With pictures! You know I wish we had all known each other when we were there! Oh well, it looks like we all still have our memories and are able to share them. I do know I would do it all over again. Take care , Ken

This is correction of TIT 15 to 60 °c not a cut back its miss consecpt.as per 1c-130B-2-4CL-1. But new JG 1c-130H-2-71JG-00-1 having no 15 to 60°c limit its only 800 to 840 limit of cross over TIT no correction mentioned here.
  14. 1 point
Cutback is a misleading term, as the TIT before correction may be lower than corrected TIT. For example, TIT before light out may be 790°C and 835°C after light out. There was an increase rather than a cutback. AGAIN, there is NO limit for TIT before light out, only 800 to 840 after light out.

At first U may ck NULL TIT,then Rich-Lean ck & also ck FCU rigging is perfect.

Its with in limit , it's better to check null TIT during starting may ur Null start TIT more then limit (780 to 810 c. )

I agree with pjvr. What you are describing is a throttle misalignment below crossover, for which there is no limit. If everything else is within limits, there isn't a problem. If you are still really concerned about this, you could check for air leaks, but you should also have lower torque and slower starts. You could also adjust the TD Valve and/or Fuel Control, but ONLY if the rich/lean check shows rich AND you have warm start temperatures and well within normal start times. Otherwise, it sounds like the TD system is doing its job well, and stops controlling when it's supposed to stop controlling.
