    Happy Veteran's Day to all. Just started a Wall Of honor at the Middle School where I teach. Very intersting pictures. I will post a picture after it is completed. Already have one that I knew. Lyn McIntosh. His son is a teacher here.

    He flew out of Afghanstain to Germany on (guess) a "C-130".

    My son who is a combat medic in the Air Force just left Afghanistan headed home, but my other son who is in the 160th SOAR is going there in January.

    At Clark we did FCF's during daylight hours. Sure would not want to fly into Crow Valley at night with a system flying you a couple hundred feet low.

    At Clark in the late 80's some of us were issued 9mm's daily to carry. The NPA was targeting certain squadrons. We had to go through use of deadly force training.

    Submitted two, one was for a proceedure to jumper a dead channel of video to a live one on the S3A FLIR recieved $5000 for that one, deigned, built, and installed a video recording system on the Talon's at Kadena in the 70's recieved $500 for that one.

    All Talon I's should be painted back to black and green and placed on display such a long history to each one to just be forgotten.

    At Moody they are just called a Rescue Group followed by Rescue Squadron,s all under ACC

    Last night on the military channel good show about the history of the AC-130's. It also showed Talon I's and Talon II's.

    My son was promoted BLZ to E-4 and was selected Moody AFB Airman of the Year 2009. He is a Combat Medic.
