Bob, 2009 will be the first to be missionized by L-3 in Waco rather than LMCO in Greenville. It'll be the first to get the Minotaur Mission Management System (MSS+) in mid-2016. 2007 and 2008 are in Greenville and will be delivered in 2016. Tom

On November 16th HC-130H CGNR 1504 (c/n 4529) was sold to International Air Response for $317,025 and has been moved from Coast Guard property. The aircraft had been offered for sale via the US General Services Administration (GSA) and had been stripped of much of its equipment including engines and structural components. Bob, From what I've gathered the Coasties had planned to retain a mixed fleet of HC-130Hs and Js. This was later revised and plans called for reducing the HC-130H fleet to 16 frames by 2017 (and later to just 11). I'm told that the plans for additional HC-130J purchases are being reviewed as the service tries to figure out how to best integrate the HC-27J into its fleet. Five HC-130Js are currently on order, which will bring the total to 11. Tom
