  1. Being CrewChief trained and engine run qualified I have taxied a couple of times out of necessity. Once in Libya and in Mildenhall.
  2. Tiny hope you over the operation soon.They said on the news today that drinking beer is good for your prostate something to do with the grain in the beer. And thats good enough for me. Get well soon.
  3. When we were at Sewart in 66-69 we had a few acft. commanders who would say come on you are going with us today. So always keep your plane flight ready.
  4. With all the turnabouts in the streets it has to be overseas I think.
  5. Happy Thanksgivings to all,and to are brave men and women who are serving over seas.I just finished helping to feed about 450 shutins and homeless people we cooked 32 turkeys and all the trimmings. Have a safe Thanksgivings.

    I was picking corn on are farm in Ky. came in with the load of corn and my uncle told me theat JFK had been killed. I had just turned 18 and knew that this is not good.
  8. I guess I was wrong about the polio theory.
  9. My guess is that in the 50's when the herk was a brain child there was a lot of Polio going around,my little sister had it when she was three months old still all crippled up. My sister lived in a iron lung for two years.

    This cartoon could be the crew that broke the tail off 64-0513 at Sewart way back when that was a site to see,broke off on touch down dragged it all the way to the end. Does anybody recall this are I'am I dreaming.

    Tiny you are a wealth of info. No matter what comes up you find it good job.
  19. We really used them a few time when we where TDY ,and the gauges would act up some of the fuel at some of the stops could have moisture in it.

  22. Wysongj I feel your pain it is terrible to see good airplanes rot,I think my acrf. is still flying in Puerto Rico C-130E 64-0510 it was a great plane very hard worker.
