I was looking at some Safety statistics and thought I'd pass this on.

40 years ago AF started getting rid of ts A's to AFRES and ANG units.

Over the years 32 AFRES (AFRC) units flew various models of Herks, 13 current units

34 ANG units flew Herks, 24 current units.

115 AS CA ANG and 96 AS AFRC MSP have 40 years of accident free flying and in addition another 6 AFRES and 17 ANG units have reached at least 30 years.

Over the years there have been 11 aircraft losses between AFRES 6 and ANG 5.
