SEFEGeorge
Came across this pic and it sure seems like a short runway. Don\'t want to land short or takeoff long. Not even sure where it\'s located. Guest cobra935o
There were some strips that looked similar to that in Iceland. Nathan

bobdaley
There was one that looked like that in the Azores. I thought it might be Sao Jorge but I found a picture at azoresairphotos and it is not. I\'ll try to attach it. I think there are nine airports in the Azores, I have no charts to check it, and I have only landed at 2 Lajes and Santa Maria. bobgrun
Yep! Saba Airport. Been there twice. Beautiful island, nice people all that. But you have to REALLY want to go diving bad to land on that one. My first trip there the pilots had left the cabin curtain open. Gave me a great appreciation for what the C-5 crew that landed and Kwaj must have felt as they finally rolled to a stop. Took me about 45 minutes for a certain part of my body to un-pucker! )
