That description doesn\'t give you much to go on...I was about to make a wild guess, but there\'s too much missing in the translation. I would be afraid that they were looking at a spar problem.

Please let us know what the squawk really turns out to be.

While I have zero experience, I have been guilty of writing a few cryptic squawk tickets, at my job, in the past. :blush:

I am inclined to say spar because of the word pillar.

But this is a guess. If it were an international, the solution would be to drill a hole into the metal to stop the crack from continuing, and just wait for the recall notice to be sent out.

That\'s what I was gonna say, vertical beam. There\'s no way a brake line can rub on a spar. The landing gear goes up to \"heaven\" and back down to \"earth\" along the beam. \"VERY CRACKED AT BOTTOM\" would be right below the shelf bracket where they always crack.
