HeyChief
Is this the aircraft Lockheed-Greenville converted? Regardless, your command should be able to work with the SPO to find disposition for these antennas. Your AFETS folks should be able to help with this as well. Guest cobra935o
They probably would have taken up less space on the plane, but if you really want to get rid of them, you can mail em to me. Nathan
tinyclark
I\'d be more than happy to take one off you hands. They won\'t be of any good to anyone else.

C130AMTFE
Nate, Are the probes different from the U model probs? They look about the same.
Guest cobra935o
They do look about the same, could be different attachment points though, thats a thought though, they might want to contact Hurlburt, or whoever would take those things before they just give em away, but I would still take em off their hands if they wanted to send em to me. How\'s life there at Hurlburt? Nathan
tinyclark
NSN is 5985-00-757-8981, p/n 5-88154-4. They are XB3, and will make some nice beer cans. Wow, I was impressed. They must be about 12 feet long, and have a mount for the coupler inside. AC-130U? Don\'t they have the HF antenna rods in the L.E. of the tail like the H3s? squirrells
Common tiny you came up and looked at them and well We are thinking of having jousting matches with them
robertsj35
The AC-130U uses an HF Probe on the right wing. Who knows if it is the same part # but the U Model -4 might be a good place to start. Jim
