The Air Force needs to do something other than commisioning programs for those enlisted members with a degree. Personnel are now being tagged for deployment in some career feilds because they have a bachelor's degree. I have no problem with a degree being a requirement for E-8 and E-9 but if enlisted members are going to given specific jobs, deployed, etc based on the fact that they have a degee, they should be payed as such. spec13fe Posted April 1, 2009 Share Posted April 1, 2009 I was told once a long time ago, that when the E-8, E,9 ranks where dreamed up all services where suppose to do away with the WO ranks, but the USAF for some reason was the only service that did away with them.
