CBG Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 My first post was to the 29 Tas in 71, we were moved to the 39TAS that year, and then to the the 316 AMS. It has been a while, but I would like to talk to those that were were there. I spent a lot of time on EST teams, I would like to talk to someone I served with then. 0495 Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 Langley was my first assignment after retraining as a Loadmaster in 1969. Arrived the end of May and was in the 4th Aerial Port to begin with. Went on rotation with the 36th in Nov 69. In March 70 swaped with a MSgt to the 36th (I was a SSgt). He wanted to be home more and I liked the travel. I left in Dec 70 going to C141s at McChord. Then to Elmendorf on 130A & D. I was a loady with the 36th, from July 70 to Feb 74. Reckon nobody else wanted me. Mr. Staples i certainly remember your name, just can't put a face on it.
