Bigbird130
I'm down in Destin Florida for 2 weeks and was wondering if what 130 units may be heading this way to work the oil spill. I thought I saw there were 2 130's down here to spray stuff to break up the oil but haven't heard any more about them. I know the weather has been bad but supposed to get better today. Good luck to anyone who comes down her and thanks for your help!!!

Guest
I wonder if they could use the MAFFS system for spraying agent on the oil spill?
MAXTORQ
They could I suppose if the tank was never used for MAFFS phoscheck.
Herkloadie
That's my future unit. As unfortunate as the spill is, I'm proud to be a future part of the unit helping. :)
Dan Wilson
I dont think your going to see any Herks spraying the oil spill. For some reason 12 days go by before the president says anything and then its just to blame BP. The head of the EPA has NEVER said anything about the spill. Strangely enough there seems to be an enormous amount of non-response from the gubbermint. I wont start any of the possible conspiracy theory's here. agarrett
I heard Lynden was there because IAR's plane was broke.
T56MX
I had found a news clip from a tv station down there that showed both Lynden & I.A.R working the oil spill flying out of Stennis international (RHSA). Does not surprise me that IAR was broke down. If it was N117TG that was down working the spill I think it is the oldest 130 flying (54-1631). Spent 2 summers babysitting the old girl in Spain while @ IAR.
