54th and 79th ARRS

I was in all three squadrons, I first went to the 605 Mass and worked on 54th WRS birds, then was transfered to the 54th later during my first tour. Transfered out to the states and a couple of other places then back to Guam and the 79th ARRS. Yes they were good times to be had there.:)

I was stationed there 1980-1982 as an engine troop with the 605th MASS. Loved to chase typhoons and hit all the islands in the process.

Just saw this post today. I was at Anderson from Jan 1982 - Aug 1983. I was a crew chief. Perhaps our paths crossed. I remember Trice Sullins and another guy in the engine shop known as "Bones". In the crew chief section then, I worked for MSgt Patterson and Sgt "Kid" Curry was my senior crew chief.
