tusker
Well!!....we do not want to see any oil consumption, leakage, and we want to keep the oil level in the tank according to the book. It's got to suck it but!!!! ..I must admit!!....it's been so long!!!. What do you think guys!!! We need a "fresh advice" from a "fresh tech" in the field!!!........... You know, I threw my Hercks books away last year. Actually, I burried them in my back yard. I couldn't throw them in the garbage.........I'll have to think about it!!!!!!!........at least the sump pressure.....OK guys!!!!!.....do it!!!! I'm listening!..................................John Boy:)
bischoffm
The power section scavenge pump relief valve opens at a scavenge oil pressure of 240 +-14 psi. The scavenge oil pressure normally does not exceed 30 - 35 psi. Here is what the book says on the gearbox!
pjvr99
Scavenge filter OUTLET pressure should not exceed 30psi with a UAP fuel heater, and 36psi with a Benson fuel heater. Oil pressure differentials Scav filter 8psi FHS (UAP) 12psi Cooler 10psi TOTAL 30psi Scav filter 8psi FHS (Benson) 18psi Cooler 10psi TOTAL 36psi See TO 2J-T56-56 SWP 060 02 for more info
