bobdaley
It was reported awhile ago that Saudi Arabia had sold its last 6 remaining E's to Turkey. At the time it was said that Turkey had sent a maintenance team to recover the Herks to Turkey. Has anyone heard if they recovered them? Are they flying for the Turkish Air Force yet? 4076 -451, 4215-455, 4304-1606, 4307-1608, 4311-1609,4397-1611 Thanks Bob BTW does USAF still fly Turkey Trot shuttles around Turkey? Has anyone been to Kayseri/Erkilet AB? There has been reported that a Herk is on static display there. Maybe 3648-10963?

bobdaley
452, 1607, 1611 were all scrapped for spare parts. 483 is an H model and is still flying last I heard. Bob
Mich
Cheers Bob, that helps a lot. Would you have an approximate date for the scrapping?
bobdaley
They were scrapped prior to 23 Sept 2006, best I can do. Bob
