A biology teacher wished to demonstrate to his students the harmful effects of alcohol on living organisms.

For his experiment, he showed them a beaker with pond water in which there was a thriving civilization of worms.

When he added some alcohol into the beaker the worms doubled-up and died.

"Now," he said,†what do you learn from this?"

An eager student gave his answer.

"Well the answer is obvious," he said

" if you drink alcohol, you'll never have worms."

I've been away from flying the mighty Herk for about 30 plus years and I was wondering about the new AF....is it still a rule that that drinking in not allowed within 50 feet of an airplane except for a cool beer on the aft cargo ramp from the case that the load had stored in the cargo door all day. As we were waiting for the crew van to pick us up. I also heard a bad rumor that there is no smoking on any AF planes except for single seat fighter jets. Sure glad I'm retired.

Muff
