Scramble
Both 62-1842 and 1858 transferred 9/11 to the boneyard, leaving 64-0510 as the final C-130E in the Air Force. (or are there still some operational at Hurlburt field?)
bobdaley
62-1857 may still be at Hurlburt Bob
Buccaneer
64-0510 fini flight will be 18 Sep 13 to Lackland AFB (Kelly Annex)... demod (wings an empennage) from there she will go to Camp Bullis as FUT for medical folks
Sparks
I would sure rather she be placed in my back yard. I would treat her well. Having said that, I trained at Camp Bullis back in the early 80's ; attended C4 (Combat Casualty Care Course) and I would rather have medical folks using her for training than being sent to the boneyard. Starting to feel old.......
