Hi all,

Just got this from Ramrod.

Can anyone confirm that 62-1801 is at Ft Campbell?

Thanks

Bob

I pulled this info from Joe Boughers serial number website:

1801 (c/n 382-3755) active and possessed by 146AW/115AS. Departed 146th AW Channel

Islands ANGB, CA Aug 4, 2004 on loan to 124th WG Boise ID ANG. Seen at Little Rock ANG

Nov 5, 2004. Temporarily loaned to Polish AF as 1508, returned to USAF Sep 2012. Seen at

Fort Campbell, Kentucky in 2013.

two updates from Ramrod

"I read on other posts it did pass thru Prestwick in Sept last year marked only as 1801."

Manny

"Bob: I found this on a yahoo blog:

yesterday at YHZ I saw C130 62-1801.

According to my database this has become 1508 with the Polish Airforce.

However, pictures on the web clearly distinguish 1508 with just that serial

number and the Polish AF flag in the tail.

Mine was carrying 62-1801, so I believe this is not one and the same or has it

been returned to the USAF?"

CYHZ is Halifax Canada.

Can anyone confirm it went to Ft Campbell?

Thanks

Bob

Hi Bob, I'm at Campbell... There are two C-130's here... One is on the flight line and is used by the Fire Department. The other is set up as a static jump trainer for the SF guys... The stencil on the tail of the jump trainer says it's 62-1801, but I'll let you know for sure once I get access to the flight deck.
