tkaminsk
On November 16th HC-130H CGNR 1504 (c/n 4529) was sold to International Air Response for $317,025 and has been moved from Coast Guard property. The aircraft had been offered for sale via the US General Services Administration (GSA) and had been stripped of much of its equipment including engines and structural components. It had been located at the Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center aboard Coast Guard Base Elizabeth City, North Carolina. http://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/aucbdcls/?sl=91QSCI16078301
n1dp
I saw this in the stripped status in early October. Just knew it was on the way out. First C-130 I flew on. It was the only "H" at E-City back in the "B" model days. Nice aircraft, Many fond memories of flying in and fixing her. I guess this is the last of the 1500 series to go? CGRetired
No, the 1502 and 1503 are still flying, but they're scheduled to be parked later this year. Here's a pic of the 1504 sitting on the civilian ramp at E-City.

bobdaley
Seems like a lot of money for a stripped out H. Bob
