    Enlisted 6 Jan 1954 in the Airforce, Medium Jet bomber crew chief, Then C-130 crew chief. Went to C-130 Flight Mechanics School At sewart AFB in 1966, Was stationed At Pope from 1966-1969 in the 777TCS. Tdy with the 778th to Japan 1968. Then Pcs to 39th ARRS in Vietnam in 1969. Pcs to the 41st ARRS in 1970. Final duty assignment wass the 41st ARRS at Hamilton AFB CAlifornia.

    I first met Sam in 1960 in Tachi. Then again at Pope in 66. Sam has a great personality. I hope is going to attend the 815th Reunion at the Rock at the end of this month. It would be great to see him again after thirty some years.

    The two remaing Aircraft Commanders, Jim Akin and Bill Hatfield and two co-pilots Billie Mills and John Dale. Will be at the 815th TCS reunion in Little Rock in March of this year:)
