Had the same problem with proof of service in country, but did manage to keep some TDY orders, submitted them and seemed to satisfy the board. ended up with the 50 % disability for agent orange contamination. ( diabetes) Good luck.

Was a part of Air Rescue & Recovery Training Center at Eglin in 71-72. Trained air crews and pj's.Then the ARRTC moved to Hill and we maintenance folk picked up th 55th ARRS. They did some of the training and logistics for the POW rescue attempt in North Nam.
