Ok Mike just to clarify. I am not trying to offend anyone. Certainly not the memory of anyone lost for sure. I do like your idea to Honor another airframe. But, why not use one that is already moded to represent? -

Yah! Don't need no stinking Posers! All joking or grumbling aside, I would like to see any of them preserved for displays. All Herks are special to someone in some way, surely some more than others. -

At our hangar in Denver we have a pair of owls (real) that have chased off all the birds. The only downside to this is I haven't seen a supervisor get bombed by pigeons lately.

Hey Dan, lots of these little social groups on face book. I've peeded on a C-130 and lived to tell about it has got to be one of the more... uh.. unique groups? thing is they have a lot of good pics and videos that people share ( like this site) some of them are by invite only but most are open to anybody.

Got a guy at work here bending my ear ... Any body have any info about a herk damaged in wyoming approx 1978 during a tornado. shoved up against a hangar, wing tip on top of hangar, one on the ground?? Pics would be awesome. Thanks John
