    316th AMS from August 73 to 75 when we moved to McChord. I was in Airborn Radar and Radio Navigation.

    TDY to Panama (Howard AFB) in 1974 for 1 month after my predecessor was badly sunburned.

    TDY Rhien Mien AFB Germany in 1975.

    Exited USAF from McChord in Dec 1976.

    Electronics Test tech with Honeywell in Ft Washington, PA til they moved to Arizona.

    Still with Pharma Bio-Serv who bought IVS in 2007.

    Married out of Boot camp (Lackland AFB) on my way to Keesler for 328x1 training.

  1. Loadsmith has it right. It was a highly sensitive Radar system. I know because I was working on (SKE) Station Keeping Equipment at Langley when it first showed up and we needed 1 AWADs plane to lead for 0 - 0 visibility ferry operations. The round radome on top of the forward fusalage is SKE antennas.
