I never thought of the sound as a noise..Music to my ears..When we lived in Navy houseing at Naha we had a chaise lounge on the back patio. Many times I layed out there and went to sleep listening to the Herk music..:)

Don't forget to stop at the travel pay window after your appointments and there is NO minimum mileage. If you use a clinic they have the forms to file out and turn in there. That ck takes about 8 weeks. I live about 60 miles from the Tampa medical center and my pay is $52.87. :)

Bobby, I have no idea what, "Deem military pay" is and wonder why you would be dealing with Social Securty about any type of military pay.

a long straight pin or needle into the wiring harness on the 245 bulkhead worked for me at Hickham and at the overhaul depot at Clearwater air port. get ready to leave just pull the pin..

Don't know bout cars but we hauled a lot of King Crab out of Alaska. Put them in the upper cargo door and loadmaster would open while taxeing in to park. Lucky Customs never ask to look there. Maybe thats because we left one box on the cargo floor for them to confiscate..Ed
