I'm looking to identify the differences between the L282 (C130B) and L382G. I'm already working with LM to acquire the drawings but from a budgetary side, I'm seeking to identify the major changes. Current 282 has gaseous oxygen system, Type H NLG, last had -15 engines, has beta lights, oil cooler temp sensor and flap system controls, H Centre wing, Type 2 outers, and I already know I'm crazy for attempting this, but I want to turn it into a L382G with an unrestricted CoA. Any help is appreciated. Dave

FEMA / US Government aid = All the same thing...

Okay... so I'm all about getting out the info that Lynden is responding and working to bring relief to these folks... BUT... both planes were already in the places stated in the release. One in Cairns and the other in Singapore. Good on them for getting some flights out of FEMA. If the average American knew how poorly organized these folks were, you'd all be even more scared. After Katrina, you'd swear they'd be better at responding. Anyhow... good on you folks that are down there getting the job done!!! and helping people who really need help... But.. no need to make it seem more dramatic than it already is. It's a really amazing role you're already playing down there.

You can actually buy the rights to the photos from the photographers in most cases which gives you the original photo without the watermark. We do it often if the photo can be used for promo.

from the stories we hear, these folks have an interesting job to say the least. Sounds like fun times, with a few hair raising experiences every so often... AH
