Giz I was told by by one of the service officers that, the fire only destoyed records from ww2 not any vietnam records were destoyed . He said he couldn't believe they were still using that .

Sparks I sent for my travel vochers also they said the same thing however low and behold I recieved another copy of my milatry records and was wondering what was going on than I noticed tucked right in the middel were 4 pages of travel vochers two trips to vietnam that solved my boots on the ground problem . I still doint know how they got there but was glad they were in there. So just goes to prove jusk keep sending the requests in they will get tierd of hearing from you.

US Herk I didnt see anybody heaping ridicule on drone piolts however I noticed you did on finance officers in our War as you put it being dirtyer than yours. In ours all crews, ground and air worked together to get the mission done, none being more important than the other. C-130 crews in our war hit the ground at one time or the other in country during the war.One last question what did you do in the herk world? I noticed its missing from you profile. Im not trying come down on you I just doint agree with you

Giz I got 10% for tinnitus ( I was told due to the c-130 eng. with no ear protection ) whitch was the norm back when we flew .Now they know it causes Tinnitus.

The part you seem to be missing US HERK is that the drone operator has no chance of being killed wile working. Its not that you havent explaned it very well. We just have a different point of view.

Giz I think all the second loads were from modyhole aerial port we eather went to weisbaden or tempelhoulf to drop troops. Out of Weisbaden the armys comand poist was called the white house .Do you remember that .We used to take them on the spaghetti runs staying in Athens for a week, they were fun to go partying with because they didnt get out much.

Giz I was on a check ride with the gray ghost as second loadmaster with a guy by the name of Dale Watson doing airdrops . I thought everything was going fine ,about halfway thrue the riging when he walked up and said (sit down and shut up Im not here for you, Watson is getting the check ride I already know what you know) needless to say I sat down.

Once apon a time we picked up a P-51 in panama with two spare eng , it had prueven markings on it also it had a builet hole in the canape to ware the pilot sat . We took it to wright pat. In the early seventys we had both the ones marked in red and the Red loops depending witch chutes each plane had on them . We were still wearing chutes in May of 73 for air drops when I got out.

Giz and Sparks theres a list of places ware services keep records , however with that said I notested if you keep sending to stlouis you will get something different every time. You do have to look thrue each batch because they eill stick something different in with it and no explanation. But keep trying I finaly got a good service officer out of atlanta ( you know you can go to different ones in your whole state) so if you doint like yours go to a different one, remember the more your a pain in the ass you are the more they want rid of you, hate to say it but it works. If you cant find the list let me know I will find the one i used. As Giz would say load clear

Sparks doint give up after two years and being turned down I made a form letter request sighned it made copys and resent it to every place the airforce stores records I think there is about 20 places. Low and behold the prof came in the form of two travel vochers to vietnam go figger hang in there it will come in time. doint let them win they doint deserve it you do.

Giz by any standard its a long prosess . The first year they rejected it for lack of proff. (The proff I had to get from them) Than they told me it was classafied and could not be released to the public ,than low and behold the proff came in the form of travel vochers whitch I submitted and a year later they finaly approved me at 20% a year later to 40% and a year after that to 50% at this point I quit aruguing with them so again be paient you earned it
