I was on the ramp the night in Nov, that 56-533 did not come back. It was a long night..............

Going from auto to null T.D. out of the picture, no over temp protection. And going from Auto to Null the fuel control is the Boss by the throttles. (Auto to Null will not " lean" the engine.) T.D. protect you from over temp, with F/F. All said, if you can not hit Take-off power in null change fuel control. P.S i learn over the years hard to "troubleshoot" from behind a desk. ( Sounds like you master-it).

If your not hitting take-off in null, Changes fuel control unit again............

And rigging, along with blade angle was check.........

That sounds about right............You can always tie the bottle to the pogo stick........

I was in Blind Bat, 21st, 41st, and 374 OMS. Been to CRB many times. In Naha from 1968-71 and many TDY's as a Blind bat troop.....

Yes, road to Naminoue and beer at the 41st bar, the best squadron in Naha......I was also in the 21st don't think there was a bar or i never found it.................

As the joke goes, 6594th Test Group had the only C130s " B " with sweep wings.................

I was in test group 76-80 and none of the Air craft had the falling star on the tail. 58-716 was a mod to JC-130B . if you Google 6594th test group there is a photos of all the birds.................

It's been many years, i still know my AF serial number. Now if i just remember those 10 security questions from basic training. You need to know all 10 before you can leave basic.............on a 2x3 card.........anyone have the card...
