    I've been crazy on 'those strange flying machines' since I was a kid...seems like 300 years ago - but I'm only 54 !!

    I worked in the airline industry for 17 years in London and at LHR and got to play with civilian airliners before joining a US Telecoms company and racked up more flying hours in 3 years with them than with the airline in 17 years!

    My main interests are US Mil, and, as you may have guessed, my true love is the A-10 'Hog'. Lucky enough to get a tour round Hagerstown when they were still building them. Awesome!

    Now retired and live on the beach in Turkey. Don't get too many A-10's around here...unless the US are going to sell off second-hand machines to the Turkish Ar Force to pay for the bank bail-outs, ha ha !

    Hi guys I have it on 'good authority' that KC-130R (tail 160626) was test flying at Davis Monthan AFB on Feb 17th. This ex VMGR-152 bird was officially inducted into AMARG Nov 20, 2008 and was still on their active inventory Dec 15, 2009. Does anyone know who it's destined for. FMS maybe ??? Thanks Brian
