I was in the USAF from 1981-1990. I was statiioned at Pope, Nashville(air guard) and Little Rock, from there went to Jeddah, KSA for 2 years then back home. Then back to Jeddah during that stint they moved a couple of the VIP C-130's to Riyadh, I went there and did a year then went to live in Canada, and work in FL. Then went back to Saudi with Raytheon, working on the C-21A, we were attached to the C-130 unit, did a year there, back to Canada for a year then went back to Jeddah for a year(2000). Left after a 1 year, went back to Canada till my wife and I decided that she was not moving again or coming back to the States, so I came down to WV and ended after a few years of contracting working for a regional airline. I have worked numerous variations of the C-130. I have done some sheet metal work, AVI work, flightline, PDM, ISO. Working right now on getting back in shape and joining a reserve unit, possibly Maxwell, or dobbins. not sure still 6-7 months away from that.
