    Entered USAF 1970 discharged 1977. basic to tech school to DM Tucson, SAC 100th SRW/99thSRW 100th OMS DC-130 A and E models 71-76, TAC 432nd until 77, during that time accured 481 days TDY to Koera(90days)OL-RU and Thailand OL-UA buffalo hunter, flew in and out of Da Nang every day until the fall of Siagon. after discharge went to Saudia Arabia worked Herks Super E& H models for over 2 yrs. came back went to school got my A&P worked for Evergreen in AZ. in the mid 80's joined Tucson Air Guard on C-130,A-7's, F-16's found a full time job with the 944th FWLuke AFB, Glendale AZ. F-16 C&D from 87 to 2006 we were BRAC'd from then to present I'm on C17's at MarchARB CA. inbetween that I went civil service over to Active Duty in QA (only civilan)for 6yrs. Now I'm QAS for the Army DCMA at Boeing Plant Mesa AZ.

    Found out a couple of weeks ago that most TDY's were listed on Blanket Orders. That's probably the reason you never had a copy to show your flights into South Vietnam. If you contact AFHRA at Maxwell AFB and get in touch with [email protected] Give him the info on your Station (ex: 464 TCW, 779th TCS, Pope) and the dates you were in Vietnam he may be able to help. They have info of what your outfit did. Anyway it will not hurt. I got info about Operation 16 Buck from 1965 1966 in support of PACAF. Gus

    I've been diognosed with Ichemic Hart Disease and I have a claim in with the VA but I have a big problem I don't have any paper work showing I was in Da Nang because we flew in and out back to our TDY location to prep for the next day mission 12 hr./7 we didn't fly every day but we did go in. could any body give me some other ideas or where to go for answers? thanks, RPG
