1. Is this a new issue? such as once you put different engines on? Do you have other aircraft with same engines/brakes with same problem? I agree that the system should be bleed VERY well. If you have access to a brake bleed kit that dumps your bled fluid back into the reservoir, you can bleed them very very well and not have to service or replace fluid. If you have the ability to modify your aircraft, I would look into installing the 1985 and up brake control valve. They do not reduce the pressure to 2030 PSI, they dump full system pressure (3000) to the brakes and will provide with more holding strength. If you want to eliminate the anti-skid completely, install a cap on the hydraulic return line from the anti-skid valves and remove the cannon plugs. bleed the brakes and Do a engine run to check for "creep"
2. check the pulse generators! hydraulic fluid gets in them from the props and changes the resistance, usually the easiest fix!

21. There is one in the CTK at moody, if I remember I will take a picture. Its never used though, I've asked "stump the chump" questions when any crew chief that was around and none of them had a clue. Both planes on our ramp that have engines removed have pet rocks. The reason they don't get used anymore is simple: if the acft rests on the stand, you have to get the acft off the stand to get your stand back (imagine pulling the wooden milkstool out from under the ramp without being able to raise the ramp) resorts to being creative such as pumping up the main struts or depleting the nose strut. or packing a whole workcenter in the flight deck lol
22. anyone know what these humps on the top are/used to be? I've been told they were an "avionics something", just curious what they were and why they were removed any other info you know would be awesome, I'm always interested to learn new c-130 stuff
