  1. That is interesting for sure, may I ask are you running -7 or -15 or -15LFE engines ? My understanding was that the tubes type were just too unreliable and broke down under the rough conditions of flying hercs. Tis site learns me new stuff every time I am here
  2. The guys found the restrictor in backwards and was replaced, I still think that would not account for what was happening, but that call is above my pay grade. If it re-occures I will look closer at the BAU and connectors.
  3. are you sure this is a H model and not an old Emodel with T56-7 engines? Not too many old tube syncrophasers around anymore.
  4. Can anyone tell me if any operators of J-models run engines configured without the compressor wash drain lines un-installed and only install when carrying out the wash procceedure?
  5. I am looking for an authorized procceedure for using the Differential Pressure Gauge P/N 2WT0501-13 connected to the 245 Bulkhead, to test vacuum differential pressure.

try checking too see if your relay is working and delivering power to the starter?
  7. First...does anyone know how many microns the augmenter filter isand second....does anyone have a proccess or method too clean these filters as apposed to disposal and installing brand new ones?
  8. I talked too an old buddy last night and he was in the same thinking as you guys to focus on the brake switch alignment, I had not thought about the the tension switch....to much time on old H models. I am looking at that right now. thanks guys.
  9. I will double check that, the brake was looked at.
  10. the asymetric brakes are working as advertised and it was the aircrew that pulled the breaker...not sure why they do things sometimes. I am very baffled, I have 20+years on legacy hercs and not near as long on J-Models
  11. I have an intermittent flap problem, flaps selected to 50% and no movement cb pulled for landing then servicable after landing, flaps selected to 100% stopped at 56%, flaps retratced stopped at 80%, flaps selected to 100% did not move found servicable after landing, flap motor replaced, control switch replaced, selector control valve replaced, flow restrictor valve replaced, rigged several times. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
