    Joined the Air Force in March '66. Went to Lackland, then to Sheppard for C-130 training. First duty station was Edwards AFB with the 6515 Organizational Maint. Squadron. Was ground crew with some flight crew time. Worked on Fulton Skyhook Recovery System, support of several aircraft testing programs and Crew chief of C-8A Buffalo (DeHavilland) during its testing.
    Second duty station was Hickam AFB with the 6593rd Test Squadron, first as a ground crew member then as a Scuba Diver for a while. Discharged Jan., "70.

    During my tour at Hickam ('68-'70), there were no Catch a Falling Star tail markings on any of the C-130's with the 6593rd.
