HI Ben Legere' Dear sir I disagree your opinion which have mentioned here, i your F/deck fuel gauge are perfect & your fuel indication system, performing well than there no reason scale difference between F/Deck SPR because alway repeater F/Deck,The system require GFT-4/6 testing.   4. 1.We are facing false Engine fire WX light on/blink , T-handle along with master light during flight there were no actual happening.But operation was normal these sequence of aircraft.What could be possible reason or remedial precautionary we replaced FCUs. 2.   6. Dear NATOPSI Sir i have investigated the generator defect it was really bearing problem which you have mentioned. End plate bearing was wear off , due this reason stator & rotor stack each other The generator is CID part No so there no provision of bearing failure system any how A/C was escape from happening Once again apology delay response Investigation revealed that problem with bearing end plate.clearness increase due to temperature or at time of bearing replaced the proper clearness was not checked as per T.O so bearing outer move wear off the bearing as my opinion. are you agree Sir NATOP1 Regards Munir Abbasi ATI home of hercules training center pakistan

  11. Dear Tiny clark sir I pray for long life.Thanks for providing information for outwing disconnect connectors. your expertise & services for hercules will remember with honour & dignity. Information regarding the outer wing disconnect connectors,replacing the connector in every PDM inspection ,is it manufacture advise or local SOP please confirm. There is the only remedy for prevention of the connectors from heavy monsoon rains/moisture to secure the connector as per T.O1-1A-14 chapter as you have mentioned. sir this action is require for preventive maintenance. there is no environmental safety from manufacture side Regards Munir Abbasi Technical instructor Hercules training center

We are facing chronic problem of Generator power leads T1,T 2,T3 are grounded in leading edge plug /connector due to water contaminated.this were happened sequence of aircrafts especially when heavy rain is over . Failure to comply could result in a burned out generator control panel. Why GCP burn out can some body explain with logic that 1.why control bunt out 2. What internal part will be damage
  15. mike first of all you have to make sure that # 2 tank X -feed valve is fully opened this can don by using bat or (Batt Tie ) external power (ESS DC BUS).For self contain power (BATT). GTC can operated without the # 2 tank boost pump Switching ON,because of gravity feeding.If gtc failed to accelerate or not operated with self contain, problem may be valve partially open GTC fuel pump/acceleration limiter is malfunctioning. the valve can position can phasically check through dry bay window/panel Munir Abbasi Home of hercules pakistan

Sir if your in remote area, A/C Battery is the only source is available for pre flight /post flight inspection All DC buses & inverter bus can be energised through battery for limited time, by using DC bus tie SW located OHECP. it batter to use the battery in isolated area only FOR operation of GTC/APU . rest of inspection can carried by ATM/APU generator Regards Munir Abbasi ATI Home of hercules center Pakistan

Sir NATOPS Thank you for correction i.e CC fan motor CB value 10A.Sir my opinion is Back emf generated by fan motor effect GCP TR unit, it may cause GCP rectifier damage but VR can provides max voltage for exciter field is approximately 7 V. this low power can not damage to any part of GCP i.e GCR Regards MUNIR ABBASI ATI Home of hercules training center Pakistan
  19. HI-NATOPS1 Thank you for providing Excellent information.Sir you know GCP receive power not more than 7 V such valve that GCP can not burnout ie 3.75 -7.15V Load applied on Generator not GCP ,Generator should burn out instead of GCP,CC fan load on each phase 5A how? Munir Abbasi ATI

  21. you have make sure crossfeed # 2 fuel tank open it seem to be cross feed power loss or defect power from ESS DC bus CP Lower panel CB Should be activated
  22. Cold weather does not effect on landing gear screw jack because the motor much torque
