160628 BuNo 4776 arrival in Santiago, Chile. Now FACh 990. Note: It is not a bad paint job, it was just a very hot day with quite a lot of hot air that created the distortions in the picture.

​The Chilean government officially stated they purchase two C-130H, so I believe that should be the new designation. I know PDM takes about 150 days and the bird came from AMARG. Would the changeof the designation add the extra 150 days at Hill AFB or something else was done?

​A very good looking bird just arrived, a C-130H was just spotted in Chile with tail number 990 that didn't exist before in the Chilean Air Force (FACh).Does anyone at Hill can advised if this is the 160628 (4776)? Or any other info regarding the other bird being overhaul at Hill AFB? Thank you

Bob, first of all let me apologize for taking your time. Twelve days ago I read in "El Mercurio" from Chile that they had bought two C-130 from the US. Would any of these two be the 160628? Do you know anything related to this C-130 sale? Thank you in advance.
