    I served for 20 years in the USAF. I started out in 1992 as an Air Launched Cruise Missile maintainer at Barksdale AFB, LA. In 1997, I cross-trained to be a flight engineer, and Pope AFB, NC on the C-130E was my first assignment as a flyer. IN 2001, I was assigned to Hurlburt Field, FL, where I spent the past 12 years of my career as an FE on the AC-130U gunship. In all, I racked up over 5,100 C-130 hours, spending much of it in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Iraq, and Afghanistan. I am retired now, living in Gulf Breeze, FL, but I do miss the flying and the people that help make it happen.

    I apologize for not updating mine, I've been in and out of the site reading most of the posts. Not much to tell, I just retired in 2013 from the USAF as an FE on C-130Es and AC-130s, now living in Gulf Breeze, FL. I am still clinging to the C-130 world, and I get a kick out of the awesome systems discussion and the stories. I hope to engage many of you in some discussions myself. Thanks for having me aboard!
