I regret that I made an error in crew description: Maj Olofson was the pilot; however, the crew also consisted of Capt Martin Stewart (copilot), Capt Max D. Trout (navigator), 1st Lt George S. Jurosky (HIRAN operator), 1st Lt John R. Cureton (airborne profile recorder), M/Sgt John L. Cronin (engineer), and T/Sgt Robert E. Zwiesler (photographer).
My father, Maj Arthur W. Olofson, together with a crew of three flew this plane from the Lockheed-Marietta Plant to Palm Beach AFB FL, on 1 January 1958. Its first unit of assignment was the 1370th Photo Mapping Group and the aircraft is an RC-130A.
