She asked one of her bright-faced little boys. Who signed the Magna Carta? He shook his head slowly. It wasn’t me, ma’am, he replied. The teacher told him to go to his seat. But one elderly board member was obviously displeased with the proceedings. He arose from his chair. Not so fast, he said. Bring that young man back.
