I recently got my own bird. 61-2358

I know this is an old thread, but I recently was made ACC on 61-2358. I love this plane.

Hello all. I just joined the site today. Im a Crew Chief at LRAFB, AR and want to learn all I can about these bird so when I cross train to FE I'll know all I can. I thought Id introduce myself. My name is Titus, I was born and raised in TN. I joined the Air Force in 2008 as a C-130 Crew Chief. I hope to meet alot of good people here and learn as much as possible.

You have to admire Canadian maintenance. Last I heard they had parked 5 E's and were still operating 14 E's. The low time ones had over 40,000 hours and some were approaching 45,000 hours. With the exception of the ex ABCCC birds, most USAF E's have under 30,000 hours on them.

PS Does anyone know if 62-1835 went from Ramstein to Little Rock?

I think 1835 went to Ramstein. All of their bird come to LR to blue section. But their changeing ours to H's next year.
