we were at 36700 during apollo13 support of of samoa,in 65-973(HC130H)

Anyone from these 2 units out there?

I too remember the plaque on 1818 and was in awe every time I saw it at what they attempted

the pics kinda remind me 0f 65-976 that went into a flat wing spin and fell 7500 ft befroe they recovered.very similiar damage

thanks Bob, I crewed both of them and was just wondering if they were still around, both were great acft, flew them both on a black initial several times

anyone know where and if these 2 H models are currently?65-973 and 65-978, both are/were HC-130H's.Thanks in advance
