I am working on a FMS case for the Navy/Marine Corps and I am trying to make sure that I have all of the info about the T56-A-15 and the T56-A-16 engine differences. One of our countries wants to convert -16 engines into -15 engines.
The info that I already know is:
The T-16-A-16 is made from more corrosion resistant material
The fuel controls are different: I did see someone mention that a -15 FC can not be used on a -16 engine. they will fit but won't work.. Is that a true statement?
The -16 has a beefed up RGB, the front case is thicker
The -16 does not have the external oil scavenge filter.
Do I have all of them or am I missing anything. I think there is a difference in the generators also but I can't remember.
