Thanks for the post. Re-fuel panel brought back memories.

Yeh, I know it is not the official squadron patch, I have a few of those also! The one I posted is one of the many things you could get made downtown! The patch I posted is about 8\" across!!!
I had a green 35th hat also, but managed to lose it over the years!
Were any of you guys in 35th Maint. during the years 67-69? It would be nice to hear from some of you on this forum!
Thanks for looking,
Ken Carlson
Just found this. I was assigned to C-130A 56-0471(black bottom) Jan. 1967 to Aug. 1968. Still friends with Sonny Cook from the 41st and Tom Edwards from the 817th. Msgt. Andrew Haskill was our Flt. Chief. Long time ago.

I was asst. crew chief on 56-0471 from Feb. 1967 to Aug. 1968. This a/c was stationed at Naha AFB, Okinawa. In the 35th Tactical Airlift Squadron (former 35th Troop Carrier Squadron). In the 374th Tactical Airlift Wing. Yes, the bottom was painted Black for "Blind Bat' mission out of Thailand. Was also involed heavily in the air supply of Khe Sanh during the TET offensive of 1968. This aircraft body was at Davis-Mothan AFB, AZ. in 2002. I saw it there while traveling on vacation.
