I worked on 942 and flew on it plenty of times. I was a com nav troop and stayed with the 2nd until 2002.

I was just curious on how many out there was assigned to the 2n AS back a Pope AFB…

Miss the FOD walks, a good way to wake up in the morning. I arrived at Pope back in 1991 and was one of the last sanding to close the doors on the 40th ALS. If there was anyone in the 40th back at Pope you will remember the Chief, Rotations and parties. I then was transferred to the 2nd and been there since I retired in 2002. WTF, I had a good time….
