They had heard of soda pop, but neither had ever tasted any, so when the vendor came through the car they each bought a bottle. The first moonshiner wiped the lip of the bottle with his hand and took a long drink—just as the train entered a tunnel. “How do you like it, Jed?†asked his companion in the darkness. “Don’t touch that stuff, Lem.
